After you pass

  1. Pass both papers. A pass in one paper does not make up for a fail in the other.
  2. Join a licensed estate agency. The agency registers you with CEA as a salesperson; you cannot register yourself.
  3. Once CEA lists you, verify on Homejourney with Singpass to receive viewing requests and list for your clients.

Do I need an account to practise?

What does Homejourney Pro add?

Is the RES exam on paper or on a computer?

On paper. NTUC LearningHub runs the exam at SIM Headquarters, 461 Clementi Road. Each paper has 80 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours 30 minutes, and you pass a paper with 60 of its 100 marks.

Which syllabus do the questions follow?

CEA has revised the RES syllabus for exams from 1 January 2027. Practice follows the syllabus of the next sitting, and moves to the revised syllabus once the last 2026 sitting is over.
